This evening will be an opportunity to meet Mohamed Mbougar Sarr, winner of the Goncourt Prize in 2021 for “La plus secrète mémoire des hommes”, a “continental book” which “will become part of your life since, all at once, it surpasses everything” (France Inter/ Le masque et la plume). Following this, a discussion of René Maran, winner of the 1921 Goncourt Prize for “Batouala”, a “truly great novel” (Didier Decoin, President of the Goncourt Academy), by Mohamed Mbougar Sarr.
Theatrical reading accompanied by a musical creation of Thierry Pécou, with the actor-musician Bibi Tanga and musicians of the contemporary Ensemble Variances.
