The quartet’s music is inspired by the deep roots of some of Jazz Music’s great composers: Charles Mingus, Thelonious Monk, Wayne Shorter, Paul Motian amongst others. The improvisations we aspire to create have the urgency of being in the moment and at the same time respecting the source materials of the composer. Spontaneous creations also play an important part of this quartet’s language and love.
