EN: Speaker: Tom Holland (best-selling author and BBC presenter)
A lecture exploring our understanding of close encounters with cultural markers – including reconstructions – in the 21st century. The Times Literary Supplement called Mr Holland’s translation of Herodotus ´the best English translation to have appeared in the past half-century´. His 2019 best-seller, Dominion: The Making of the Western Mind, examines the interplay between culture and religion in the modern world.
