Matthieu Ricard - l'altruisme en action

Les Amis du Tibet, Luxembourg, with the support of neimënster are pleased to welcome Matthieu Ricard for an exceptional conference.

Born in France, Matthieu Ricard became a Tibetan Buddhist monk in 1979. His spiritual journey took him to India, Tibet, and Nepal, where his main retreat is located. Fluent in Tibetan, he is the official interpreter of the Dalai Lama when he travels in French-speaking countries. He is also the author of numerous books, the latest of which, Carnet d’un moine errant, evokes the path to inner freedom and the good of others. Through his books, his photos, and his teachings, he participates in the transmission of Tibetan culture and spirituality in Europe.

During this conference, you will have the opportunity to discover how his atypical journey, his travels, and his encounters have awakened in him the importance of integrating the notion of altruism in his daily life.

All the profits from this conference will be used to finance a project in favor of Tibetan refugees in Nepal led by his association, Karuna Shechen, and the Luxembourg NGO, Les Amis du Tibet, Luxembourg.
