EN: Based on Bernard-Henri Lévy’s play Hôtel Europe, the latest film from the Oscar-winning Bosnian director Danis Tanovic deals with the existential fears, anxieties and moral dilemmas that plague modern European society. Set in a hotel in Sarajevo around the 100th anniversary of the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand, contrasting the present and the past, the film gives no answers but offers hope for a future coexistence.

It was awarded the Grand Jury Prize (Silver Bear) at this year’s Berlinale.
