Biographie

Fernando López  est un Docteur en Esthétique de l’Université Paris 8-Saint Denis, où il allie activité artistique, recherche académique et enseignement.

Depuis 2009, il dirige sa propre compagnie dans le domaine du flamenco contemporain, ayant créé plus d’une dizaine de spectacles où s’entremêlent danse, paroles et musique, dépassant toutes les étiquettes. Dans ses créations, il a eu la participation d’artistes tels que Álvaro Romero, Jero Férec, Belén Maya, La Chachi, Carmen Muñoz et Isabel Do Diego, entre autres.

De même, il a été sollicité comme directeur artistique et conseiller par des chorégraphes comme Olga Pericet, Belén Maya, Juan Carlos Lérida, José Manuel Álvarez, Poliana Lima, Carmen Muñoz, etc.

Entre autres distinctions, il a reçu le prix du meilleur danseur du concours El Álamo (2010) et la bourse DanceWeb (2013) du festival ImpulsTanz de Vienne.

Depuis 2020, il est membre de l’Académie des arts du spectacle d’Espagne et professeur invité dans différentes universités espagnoles et françaises, où il propose des ateliers théoriques et pratiques axés sur la recherche-création et les questions de genre en danse.

Challenging traditional notions of dance repertoire, No More Versions: Love, the Magician takes viewers on a thought-provoking exploration that challenges while illustrating the very essence of movement and artistic expression. Drawing inspiration from the rich history of Spanish ballet, Fernando López delves into the concepts of « repertoire » and « repetition », prompting us to reflect on a fundamental question: How can a dancer’s body create a gesture innovative and original dance without simply repeating the movements that others have done before him? This is how we discover a universe where movement becomes a vector of deep exploration and artistic innovation.

Biography

Fernando López is a Doctor of Aesthetics from the University of Paris 8-Saint Denis, where he combines artistic activity, academic research and teaching.
Since 2009, he has directed his own company in the field of contemporary flamenco, having created more than ten shows where dance, words and music intertwine, surpassing all labels. In his creations he has had the participation of artists such as Álvaro Romero, Jero Férec, Belén Maya, La Chachi, Carmen Muñoz and Isabel Do Diego, among others.
Likewise, he has been requested as artistic director and advisor by choreographers such as Olga Pericet, Belén Maya, Juan Carlos Lérida, José Manuel Álvarez, Poliana Lima, Carmen Muñoz, etc.
Among other distinctions, he received the best dancer award from the El Álamo competition (2010) and the DanceWeb grant (2013) from the ImpulsTanz festival in Vienna.
Since 2020, he has been a member of the Academy of Performing Arts of Spain and a visiting professor at various Spanish and French universities, where he offers theoretical and practical workshops focused on research-creation and gender

Damiano Ottavio Bigi et Alessandra Paoletti « Un discreto Protagonista »

Un Discreto Protagonista retrace l’histoire d’un instant, d’un instant hors du temps, ou avant la notion de temporalité elle-même, au cours duquel l’équilibre et la symétrie sont rompus pour initier le début du temps. Pas de bang, pas de son, juste une vibration temporaire dans l’air. La symétrie se brise et les présences non cristallisées se chevauchent, se mélangent. Elles changent et se transforment en une expansion constante. Ce sont des restes et des fragments dispersés qui, dans un espace fluide, tentent de se réassembler dans des formes dictées par des relations géométriques, créant ainsi des formes toujours différentes.

Biographie

FRITZ Company est un projet artistique et une compagnie de danse-théâtre fondée en 2013 par Damiano Ottavio Bigi, danseur et chorégraphe et Alessandra Paoletti, actrice et metteuse en scène. Leur travail naît d’un dialogue avec des langages de nature différente, se déplaçant entre les genres de la danse, du théâtre et des arts visuels. Les éléments essentiels de leurs créations sont issus d’une exploration qui s’appuie sur des schémas de composition structurels, dramaturgiques et kinesthésiques. 

Damiano Ottavio Bigi est un chorégraphe, danseur et interprète italien. De l’Opéra de Rome à Dimitris Papaioannou, en passant par plusieurs compagnies françaises de danse contemporaine avant de rejoindre le Tanztheater Wuppertal dirigé par Pina Bausch, dont il est membre depuis 2005 et où il travaille toujours en tant qu’invité. 

Alessandra Paoletti est une actrice, metteuse en scène et auteure italienne, active dans le domaine de la recherche théâtrale, de la danse-théâtre et de la danse contemporaine. Diplômée de l’Académie nationale d’art dramatique « Silvio D’Amico », elle évolue, en tant qu’interprète et metteur en scène/chorégraphe, à travers différents langages et visions.

A Discreto Protagonista traces the story of an instant, an instant out of time, or before the notion of temporality itself, during which balance and symmetry are broken to initiate the beginning of time. No bang, no sound, just a temporary vibration in the air. The symmetry breaks and the non-crystallized presences overlap, mix. They change and transform in constant expansion. They are scattered remnants and fragments which, in a fluid space, attempt to reassemble into shapes dictated by geometric relationships, thus creating ever different shapes.

Biography

FRITZ Company is an artistic project and a dance theater company founded in 2013 by Damiano Ottavio Bigi, dancer and choreographer and Alessandra Paoletti, actress and director. Their work arises from a dialogue with languages   of a different nature, moving between the genres of dance, theater and visual arts. The essential elements of their creations come from an exploration that relies on structural, dramaturgical and kinesthetic compositional schemes.Damiano Ottavio Bigi is an Italian choreographer, dancer and performer. From the Rome Opera to Dimitris Papaioannou, passing through several French contemporary dance companies before joining the Tanztheater Wuppertal directed by Pina Bausch, of which he has been a member since 2005 and where he still works as a guest.Alessandra Paoletti is an Italian actress, director and author, active in the field of theatrical research, dance-theatre and contemporary dance. A graduate of the National Academy of Dramatic Art « Silvio D’Amico », she evolves, as a performer and director/choreographer, through different languages   and visions.
