Double Bill: Dreamer & Stark bollock naked - by Anne-Mareike Hess & Larisa Faber
After the dance solo Warrior (2018), which dealt with male stereotypes and the archetype of the warrior, Anne-Mareike Hess’s second solo Dreamer dives into her femininity by the exploration of stereotypes related to women. She builds a character, that of the dreamer, to explore the vision that society sends back to women and to deconstruct the stereotypes associated with them. For this exceptional evening neimënster re-welcomes on stage Larisa Faber‘s show, stark bollock naked. Inspired by her own experience with the social pressures of the biological clock, she confronts the audience with questions about female identity and doesn’t shy away from taboo subjects like abortion and mental health.
